Kingston brunch restaurants
The term ‘brunch’ was first coined in England in the late nineteenth century. It soon caught on and gave diners the chance to combine lighter items such as toast or pastries with more substantial dishes including eggs, sausage and bacon. Like Hawkers Bar and Brasseries, brunch combines the best of both traditional and modern flavours.
Brunch is the perfect option for anyone who wants a relaxing late breakfast or a decadent early (or even late) lunch. At Hawkers Bar and Brasserie in Kingston we serve British brunch favourites, lighter options and luxurious treats, all of which can be customised into your perfect meal. For instance, you could enjoy a satisfying breakfast bap on a glazed brioche bun. For an extra indulgence, our ‘Bottomless Brunch’ is 90 minutes of bottomless bliss with delicious mimosas available for an additional £15 alongside a classic brunch dish of your choice.

Mimosas are optional, but they make a perfect accompaniment to our brunch dishes. You can also choose from a selection of delicious coffees, teas and fruit juices.
Those with an appetite for a little variety at the weekend can try Hawker’s Hot Tasties during brunch hours these are our Chef’s special dishes designed for impact. How about devilled kidneys and pan-fried chicken liver, served with smoked bacon and sherry vinegar? About Hawkers Bar and Brasserie
We are proud to be part of the Kingston community and value the custom of our neighbours and friends as well as that of visitors to the area. Hawkers Bar and Brasserie pays homage to Kingston’s extensive contribution to the history of aviation and is named after the Sopwith Aviation Company’s chief test pilot, Harry Hawker. A further tribute comes with one of our signature cocktails, called ‘The Aviator’, which is made with the local Beckett’s gin, fresh lemon, Creme de Violette, Maraschino liqueur and sugar.
As well as our fabulous brunch options, our fine a la carte menu is available all day. For Afternoon Tea you can choose from sandwiches and tea, champagne or a cocktail. You will be made to feel welcome whether you join us for a luxurious Sunday Roast, just a glass of wine, or one of our speciality gins and nibbles.
All our dishes and drinks are lovingly prepared using local ingredients where possible. For instance, we serve Kingston’s own Beckett’s gin distilled with mint picked from Neil’s backyard and Juniper from Box Hill.
We pride ourselves on our excellent service, where nothing will be too much trouble.
